Advances in Mendoza

We met with the teams of the Trauma Program of the Argentine province of Mendoza to begin training in the use of the Trauma Registry.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Oscar Sagas, Undersecretary of Health of Mendoza; Dr. Natalia Luna Maffei, advisor, and designated representatives of the Trauma Program of the Central Hospital, Lagomaggiore Hospital, Notti Hospital, Schestakow Hospital and the Coordinated Emergency Service of Mendoza.

The Trauma Program is the first sustainable model in the management, survey and analysis of injury information in Argentina that helps organize the country’s health system.

Thanks to the support of Zurich Argentina, Mendoza is the first province in the country to join the plan of scalability of the trauma network.

Having data is the first step in preventing Trauma disease.
