Graduated doctor with Honor diploma (Universidad de Buenos Aires), Intensive Care Medicine practitioner. Fellow of the American College of Critical Care Medicine and of the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma. He is a Full Member of the National Academy of Medicine and president of its Professional Certification Council, and a corresponding member of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Córdoba.

He was a founding member and president of the Argentine Society of Trauma Medicine and Surgery; President of the Argentine Society of Intensive Care and of the Pan-American Society of Trauma. He served as Director of Emergencies and as Deputy Director General of SAME (Buenos Aires city) among other positions in recognized health institutions in the country.

He was distinguished by Buenos Aires Legislature as Outstanding Personality in the field of medical sciences; Physician of the Year; SATI President; Institutional Recognition Diploma of the Pan American Trauma Society; Master of Medicine; Konex Award 2013 Diploma of Merit in the Public Health category.”
